So what is leadership read me?

Think of it as a user guide — similar to the kind you get with IKEA furniture, but this one demonstrates you as a manager. How you operate optimally when you might malfunction, and how others should perceive your common ways of working.

I decided to share my version as something that might be useful for all of you.
For me, it’s been a tool for new starters as an onboarding help, especially in the high growth phase. I have generally received positive feedback from the folks on the reading end.

It’s going to take a solid quarter to figure this place out. Take your time, meet everyone, ask me who to meet if you don’t know the right folks for area X, write things down, and ask all the questions — especially about all the abbreviations and acronyms.

One of the working relationships we need to define is ours. The following is a user guide for me and how I work. It captures what you can expect from the average week working with me, how I like to work, my principles, and some of my nuances. My intent is to accelerate our working relationship with this document.
